AC/DC Get Ready for the Road!

AC/DC are going to tour - so count me in for sure! According to Blabbermouth, the big tour starts in October.  The tour will coincide with the release of the new album Black Ice.

I'm not sure it's possible to top Back in Black, but I hope Black Ice is just as good. Back in Black was released in 1980 and has since sold something like 22 million copies. That makes Back in Black one of the best selling albums of all time.   It's even still a top seller on Amazon.com when it comes to classic rock.

I can't really listen to "You Shook Me All Night Long" anymore because radio ruined it for me, but every other track on Back in Black is still golden. My favorite song on Back in Black is "Rock and Roll  Ain't Noise Pollution."

I wonder how long AC/DC will play during the Black Ice tour? Even more pressing - who will get the honor of being the opening act? I imagine that opening for AC/DC could be a career defining moment for an up and coming band. Hell, it could be big for an established band.

Since this is a full fledged world tour, I'm hoping AC/DC play at least two shows in Ohio. I like traveling to other states to see shows, but the money well is just about dry. Of course, AC/DC won't be hitting the U.S.A. for quite a few months, so there is time to save.

Here's AC/DC performing "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution" live in 1996.

This is awesome! It's great to see these guys back, and I'm really looking forward to this new album as well.

I will always consider the "Back In Black" album special, because it is the album that first got me into hard rock.

ac/dc is one band i've never had the chance to see so i can't wait. gotta save up and go see them this time around. i can still listen to "you shook me all night long" but that's probably because i listen to very little radio.

AC/DC is the band that got me into rock. Their new albums are not as great as the old ones tho, but I will buy it. I will see them, too. Airbourne is the only possible choice for an opening act.

ive seen ac/dc 3 times now and each time they were amazing - sure they aint what they used to be but hey theyre getting on a bit.

I would love to see Airbourne open for them - it seems right - that would be an excellent rock and roll fest and i for one would love to see it.

I love AC/DC! It's always great when flipping through the radio and you hear, "Back in Black" "TNT" or "Dirty Deeds Done Cheap". Now, where is my school uniform and my Gibson?

Amazing band...first live show I ever saw when I was 15 (actually LA Guns was the first band I ever saw live since they opened for them!). Have seen them twice and both times have been amazing...been waiting a long time to see these guys again.
