Dag the Giblets

Picture it: Saturday night, late. I don't feel well and I'm swamped. Funny that no matter how hard you try, when you feel lousy you're just not a very effective worker. So, I have a million things to catch up on today and I'm falling behind. Instead, I'm feeling crappy and scanning Metal Sludge and drinking Sprite. Then I hit gold.

Someone had posted the video of Badlands "The Making of 'The Last Time.'" Apparently, this clip is part of a larger VHS release.

I love Badlands!

I'll be honest, I didn't know that a Badlands VHS even existed. I've not seen it anywhere - record shops, eBay and garage sales included. The video, called Dag the Giblets, was made in 1991 and is since way out of print. I just checked and Amazon has one used copy...selling for over a hundred bucks! The VHS includes music videos, performance clips and family footage. I want it - but over a hundred dollars is a little much for me, considering I don't even have a VCR hooked up to my TV anymore.

Here's "The Making of 'The Last Time.'" Watch it, then let me know: do you own Dag the Giblets?

Yes, I have it & LOVE it!! I saw them on the Voodoo
Highway Tour, met all the guys! Ray was always one of my top favorite singers. Incredible talent, I have all 3 Badlands releases, & the Sabbath Eternal Idol demos and the Rondinelli release, The Sun Red Sun releases are good as well.
