Rattlesnake Kisses

Holy glam, the Electric Angels look like "Never Enough" era L.A. Guns in their video for "Rattlesnake Kisses." Formed after Candy fell apart, Electric Angels never made it huge, but they did have a deal with Atlantic Records which yielded the band's only album, Electric Angels. I like the song "Rattlesnake Kisses" - do you?

I totally love this album! Their lyrics are humorous. This made me search in my CD binders to look for my Electric Angels CD. Songs like Head Above Water, True Love & Other Fairytales, and Rattlesnake Kisses shows more humor and better songwriting skills than many bands that are out there.

This record excellent. Came out in the spring of 1990. That would be Ryan Roxy on guitar. It's a shame these guys never made it.

One of the best CD's EVER, glam or otherwise. I still listen to this all the time, even after almost 20 years. There is actually a second, unreleased, album floating around the net called New York Times. This band should have been huge.

Most of the members went on to form The Loveless after EA broke up. The Loveless put out one album, which is pretty much impossible to find.

True Love and Other Fairy Tales is the best song on this album and one of the best glam songs out there. Cars Crash was another excellent tune from this.

Nice pick Allyson! I'd never heard of this band, but after listening to this track and reading up on them a little I think my next stop will be ebay...
