So Who is Going to the Wildside Reunion?

Later this month, on February 27, Wildside will reunite at the Roxy on the Sunset Strip. Even better, Wildside is playing the show with TUFF and Vains of Jenna. But seriously -- Wildside reunited! (In case you don't recall, Wildside released Under the Influence in 1992).

Lead singer Drew Hanna, guitarist Brent Woods, bassist Marc Simon and drummer Jimmy D are in for the reunion. That's four of the five original guys and I think this is very cool. If I was a betting woman, I'd say Wildside will play this year's Rocklahoma. Of course, the fest is adding modern bands, so it's hard to say who will show up.

I generally like living in Ohio - because basically it rules - but the winters suck and this year has already been supremely bad. This means I would literally do anything to be in California at the end of the month to see this show. Just me, the boys in Wildside and swaying palm trees.

I never got to see Wildside live. I've actually never seen TUFF either and they rule, too. I imagine this is going to be one very fun show. Raise your hand if you'll be at the big reunion!

Agreed Chris. The Wildside singer's voice was blown after the 2nd song and it only got worse from there. That's not the original guy. Can't be. Too old. What about the girl guitar player in the band? That was a girl right? Couldn't hear anything coming from her? Idk, I just wasn't impressed. A band of older guys that used to play in the 80's. Eh. Tuff was way better. Stevie is always killer.

Just too many bands on the bill for one night. VOJ were the best. Everyone left after they finished. Wildside sucked pretty bad. Tuff was okay. The clubs on the strip are lame now. Who goes there anymore?

I didn't go but I saw the vids put up on their site. Can't say they sounded like they once did.I agree with others on the level of musicianship. Some good some of it bad. Then again, they are older men so it can't be easy to sing like Axl or Pearcy at 50.

Hilarious that these D-List and below hair bands "reunite" and attempt to shake up the music scene by playing a dank club to their wives and neighbors. Wildside is the 47th band from the early 90's to make the big comeback that no one cares about. Why do these bands do this?

The vids on YouTube of this Wildside concert are HORRID. Drew Hannah sounds absolutely terrible and looks like a sweaty manatee. Go check out the vids. All you can say is... SHIT. Sad state of affairs here.

Found the videos of the show from over a year ago. Agreed, Drew is a very FAT guy and can't sing. Sure isn't good looking any more. Time can be cruel. Band sounds bad, then again, it's a junk recording.

Old bands that no one gave a shit about 2 decades ago should stop acting like fools and embarassing themselves.

The re-release of the original CD is fantastic. Got an industry promo two weeks ago for the 20th anniversary. Great sounding. Good job guys. Now get Drew back in shape, and get the original band back together!

Just saw all the bad videos from this show back in 2010! The singer GOT FAT and can't sing! Oh my Lord, that was so hard to watch. Guitar player mistakes left and right, girl not even plugged in. EMBARRASSING as all get out. FAT sweaty singer no voice. Such a shame.

Wild Side had that cool first CD. But that was 20 something years ago. They're old men now. The singer guy is old and fat and can't sing. That's obvious. It's on YouTube. I had to see for myself. Can't sing. Really bad. I wish it was 1993 again so we could see it when they were in their prime. Too bad.
