Slash, 'Starlight' Live at Rock on the Range

Videos are popping up of bands performing at Rock on the Range. Naturally, I went looking for Slash first. Here's an amazingly close shot of Slash doing "Starlight." The video bounces a little but the person making the clip did an overall great job. Our friend Christian was down in the pit for Slash and told me horror stories of having people crowd surf right into his head and having to hold his glasses for fear of breakage. I watched from safety -- nothing was going to get in the way of me enjoying Slash.

Myles Kennedy is my single favorite artist of the last decade.Even though I think he's the man for the VR gig,(he's proven he can pull off the material)it's a long shot.New releases from Alter Bridge and his solo album will have to suffice. Rock On Myles

I maybe am in the minority here , but I though Slash ( the band ) were not so good at ROTR, the onlt time the crowd got into them was when the GNR or Vr song played. If you are gonna call your "band" Slash , just play the songs on "Slash's" cd...If ya want to live off the past,( which you certainly have the right to do ) take a side stage gig or play earlier in the day on mainstage. Let BFMV or 5FDP have your slot and then it makes more sense.....Having said that , Myles is a great singer and Slash is obviously good at what he does.....

Myles does have incredible voice Glenn. He was the rumored replacement for Robert Plant when Zep was talking about touring,as he was rehearsing with them and supposedly the results were quite impressive...

The guy in the crowd beaking about Axl was a bit of a goof but I guess there's one in every crowd.

Yes, I did in fact fear for my safety a few times, but it was worth it to be that close to Slash. I'll be waiting to be at the front of his melbourne show in August.

I wished he'd done some snakepit songs. Why should he be cut off from songs he wrote because all his singers are asshats ?
