En Route to M3 2010

I'm off to Baltimore today for M3 rock fest. While I'm at the show tomorrow, I'll Tweet regular updates throughout the day. If you are going to be at the show and want to meet up, send an email today to and I'll send you some contact information. So far, I've got plans to meet up with around 20 or so people. Yeah, this is a big one folks! The pavilion has been sold out for months and I suspect the lawn will be packed, too. Let's hope it doesn't rain!

In case you're wondering, the bands I'm most excited to see tomorrow are the Scorpions (my first time!), Kix, Cinderella and Nelson (I want to observe Mark Slaughter playing lead guitar). Here's to the summer and glam!

What th...?! I'm curious to see Slaughter play lead, too! That sounds crazy! Plus, Nelson will have a helluva back up vocalist with him, as well!

It's okay, Allyson, you can admit to everyone Nelson is one of your biggest guilty pleasures.

All right, cringe, I admit it, too! At least for the AOR Cheeze Metal hits!

Can't believe we can be watching Jetboy by noon! Awesome!

They are one of my faves!

See you there, kiddiez!

Note to Brian: Hey, bro, I've been meaning to leave comments regarding my adventures seeing Lizzy Borden. You won me over posting about thoze guys. The first time I saw 'em was 1988 at Network in Pasadena, MD and the last was in a tiny basement bar in downtown Baltimore in 2001. Killarious! I will comment early next week. I just have a lot going on right now personally as well as biz or you would have seen it sooner. And now I'm gettin' ready for M3. See you all there!

Winger is the one I'm looking forward to most as far as first-timers go...and Trixter. Gotta love "Give It To Me Good."

ZO2 is a great live band, don't miss them. I'm looking forward to hearing some new Scorpions live too.

This show is going to rock.

Hey Kari. What does 5150 stand for on your twitter name. If it's what I think it is, SW, I worked with him. If not nevermind.

Bulk of M3 was great. I'd heard Klaus was really sick, and kept thinking the Scorps might pull the plug at any moment on the show, but they stayed as late after schedule as they started.

Cinderella and Winger were both big highlights as well.
