I'm So Excited for the New Rival Sons Album

The Rival Sons will release Pressure & Time later this month - June 28 to be exact (you can pre-order from the band's website). I swear, these guys prove rock is far from dead! I know the Rival Sons don't like to be compared to Led Zeppelin - but I can't help it. Their songs are so epically... classic it's almost too much for me to bear! I was trying to hold out until the 28th so I could review the album, but I just couldn't wait. The first single from the new album is the title track, "Pressure & Time."

The Rival Sons have a couple tour dates booked and will also play the ShipRocked cruise this November. Seriously - keep an eye on these guys.

I do believe a CD sampler of their works came with Classic Rock and that I've been meaning to buy the whole thing, so, thanks for the heads up !!!

These guys are the real f--kin' deal! I own their first two releases and listen to them at least once a week. This is a band that deserves to be big. I'm definitely a first-day buyer of this one.

Zep? It sounds like Badlands to me. Not that is a bad thing. Sounds real good, look forward to buying this

Zep influenced, for sure. That's a variation on the riff for Zep's "Out On The Tiles" you are hearing in the guitar work.

Love these guys. Got all of their stuff since Al first featured 'em and look forward to gettin' this too!
