Who Is Going to High Voltage 2011?

Admit it: you want to go to High Voltage next month in the UK. The fest is July 23 and 24 in Victoria Park, London. Judas Priest and Dream Theater will headline and other bands on the bill are Thin Lizzy, Slash (with Myles Kennedy), Jethro Tull... and my new obsession, Rival Sons.

I have "attend a European festival" on my bucket list. Maybe someday High Voltage will be that fest. If you live in the UK or are lucky enough to be traveling there next month, tickets are still available as are VIP packages.

If you plan on attending, drop me a comment. I'd love a review of the show!

WOW!!! What a festival! All of the above mentioned bands are great and I would LOVE to see them, but for me the band I would love to see most is THUNDER!

They are AMAZING live (according to the many youtube videos I've seen of them :-) ). I don't know how many more "one off"s they're going to do, so this might be one of the last chances to see them live.

Danny Bowes is one of the greatest and most underrated rock singers in history!

Well, I'm off to rob a bank... Otherwise the only way I'll get some High Voltage is sticking my finger in socket!
