James Durbin, 'Higher Than Heaven' -- Live

Last night, James Durbin returned to the American Idol stage to perform "Higher Than Heaven." After that performance, James headed down the road a little to the Sunset Strip to kick off his spring tour. He'll open shows for Evanescence, Buckcherry and even Steel Panther. I interviewed James for Noisecreep -- and I have some of the interview left over that I'll be posting here this weekend.

Judging by the reaction he got at the Golden Gods Awards (they didn't hate him) and his concert at the Viper Room after this performance, I'd say definitely not.

I really think the guy does have some talent,..I'm just not into the current way of making the scene on reality television...and I watch the shows if I'm not doing anything, and I thought he was good on that version of idol, and his story and all,...but for me it pretty much ends there!
