The other day, Adler released the official video for the single "The One That You Hated." The clip premiered on RollingStone.com and garnered positive feedback. You already know I love the song. Turns out I dig the video too!

I like the song and love to see Steven being productive and hopefully staying on the straight and narrow. But I have to ask myself what is Steven's actual contribution to the band other than his name. Could or would these guys have done this without him and is this a case of surrounding Steven with some really talented musicians and capitalizing on his name to launch this project...

I really hope it is the other way around and that Steven found his way to these guys and they actually hit it off and created great music together..

But at the same time I am a conspiracy theorist so I should just shut up and enjoy the music for what it is....

haha Shawn. The truth probably lies somewhere in between.

Adler flawlessly drummed like the professional "Animal" that he is at The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame broadcast on HBO last night. It really does have a more "authentic-to-the-original" sound when Adler's playing the stuff rather than yeoman, Matt Sorum.

And I will give further credit where credit is due. Though I have been critical of Slash in the past, his playing was incredible. I still can't figure out why Izzy didn't show up.

Though I'm not a big Miles Kennedy fan, it's clear Axl may have been nervous about not being able to deliver like he used to and certainly not on the level of Kennedy, as evidenced by the footage out there of Axl's strained performances on his current tour.
