A New Aerosmith DVD Is Coming

Aerosmith will release Rock For The Rising Sun in June. The DVD features the band's 2011 performances in Japan. The video will be out on regular DVD and Blu-Ray. The movie features both concert footage and behind-the-scenes interviews. I know I'll get this since I buy everything Aerosmith releases.

Here's the trailer.

At first, I asked myself "Why not release a video from the current tour?" Then I saw the trailer & understood. It's to juxtapose Aerosmith & their 2011 visit to Japan, against the backstory of the horrific tragedy of the earthquake & destructive tidal wave that followed.

Hopefully some of the revenue created by this will be funneled back to Japan in the form of Aid for the victims of these disasters. I would be quite upset to find that someone else's misfortune was used as a way for Aerosmith to just get richer than they already are.

Doubtful ace. My bet is that the money earned from this will go towards more plastic surgery for the lead singer & guitarist.

If he's already had some, He should ask for his money back.

Speaking of older rockers, (God bless 'em!) Has anyone see the video of the asshat who ran onstage & knocked Mick Mars over? Aside from the guy turning 64,& having debilitating, bone fusing diseases, he has to gett attacked like this from a FAN? UNcool!

Can't wait for new DVD and they sure don't need plastic surgery. It's their energy and amazing talent that keeps them forever young and gorgeous. Getting older just makes them more interesting, and their music soars to higher and higher levels with the years.
