Winger, Live at the Whisky

Winger played the Whisky A Go-Go in Los Angeles earlier this week. Maybe some of you attended the show?

True to form, they were just incredible. It always amazes me just how amazing Winger still sounds live... and the guys really give it all they've got on stage, too. If only every Glam band from back in the day still sounded this good.

Jesus H.Christ, that was spot on! I always considered Reb Beach one oft the best guitarists to come out oft the the era, but I Was completely unaware he had a really good singing voice to boot.( sure looked like him doing the higher "Miles Away" in the chorus) That was a truly amazing performance. Thanks for that Ally.

Great musicians with a solid catalog. Too bad their new material is rarely hit but mostly miss!

Saw them at M3 earlier this year and they were the best band of the fest!! Two clubs show also and I'm ready to see them again! New tracks from new record are killer!! Stellar live band - Winger rules!!

Yeah, there's no question, these guys are phenomenal live despite the overall mediocre catalog, save for "Can't Get Enough", "Battle Stations" and eternal guilty pleasure, the iconic "Seventeen".

I'll take the first record when I'm in the mood for it. Don't really like the rest. Still much respect, great musicians and a solid live act.

I've seen these guys a few to.es over the years and they have been amazing every time, some of there songs come across even better live than studio. Hope they come this way again soon.

Ooo, Badland... I saw Bulletboys in '89. Ultimate Badas*ses. It must have been KILLER seein' 'em with Cinderella, to boot. Personally, I contend those two acts are vastly superior to Winger.

As I said, I have all respect in the world for Winger's group of musicians. It's the songwriting, save for those three cheeseball songs I mentioned above, that I find unexciting.

And that means, in my mind, I find Cinderella AND Bulletboys vastly superior to Wingjob.

Metalboy, bullet boys really, two decent songs which I really liked after that it goes downhill in a hurry, Cinderella is awesome though. Check out some deeper cuts on winger you may appreciate such as blind revolution mad or no mans land to name a couple.

Yeah, but those 2 songs are vastly superior to EVERYTHING from Wingit!
