Tom Keifer Performs With Halestorm

Tom Keifer is out on his solo tour. Halestorm is also (perpetually) on the road. The two acts both performed at the Taste of Minnesota last Saturday... and Tom joined Halestorm on stage for some tunes. I always enjoy seeing clips of Tom performing with other rockers. He's a musician's musician, if you know what I mean. Awesome stuff here.

I LOVE Halestorm.
I would like to have heard Lzzy duet w/ Tom on "Private Parts"!

Actually, I'm not really sure what you mean by "a musician's musician". Could you elaborate for me/us? Thanks.

Fletch,
I simply mean Tom is an accomplished musician and he likes to surround himself with likeminded folk - he genuinely seems to be loving performing with other musicians these days, not just his Cinderella bandmates.

This is really cool. I love Halestorm. Dave Grohl is another great example of a musicians musician. I absolutely love this kind of stuff.

Yeah, the only difference is, DJ, Grohl, though I admire his resume and his technical ability, doesn't even have a thimbleful of the talent Keifer does.

Keifer is a musician's musician in the sense that a musician can tell he's legit, wears his roots on his sleeve, inspired by the entire history of Rock and Blues AND enjoys rocking out with REAL musicians he likes, not just their music, but as people.

Now, if he would just do what both the fans AND his musician friends would love to see him do -- Put out a KILLER Cinderella album.

I tweeted Tom yesterday and told him that they should record together.(of course he didn't respond, most never do,lol) They're just a natural fit. They mesh perfectly.Halestorm is hands down my favorite newer band. They just plain old kick ass....

Congratulations. Of all the ridiculous things you've said on this website, this one takes the cake. You are truly delusional.

YOU are delusional, Dude. Play "Long Cold Winter" in it's entirety and your favorite Foo Fighters' album back to back and it will become painfully obvious to you -- Grohl deals in Generock and Keifer deals in Rock'n'Roll History!!! Uh, Duh!

Sure, Cobain beats Keifer by a mile in originality, but his frickin' drummer? Gimme a frickin' break.
