Btw: Ronnie James Dio 5 years RIP today. Loudwire has snippets of rockstar video tributes. I found Lizzys from Halestrom particularly insightful. Check it out

Okay, okay... Very funny. But when the laughter stops, the harsh realization sets in... THIS is what Grunge and Hard Rock have been reduced to in Seattle. $immons just may be right.

Hard to imagine how quickly time has passed since Dio died. Damn shame. Kixchix is right: lots of interesting tributes and lists out there to celebrate his music and his legacy.

True enough, Metalboy! But a lot of metal folks would do well to give a listen to Adler's advice. Smart man, invested in not only celebrating his legacy but also protecting and educating others who hope to have and maintain a career in [the] music [business]. His quirky jams with "Smells Like Wilford Brimley"? Eh, not so much. But I bet they, and the crowd, had a good time.
