Enuff Z'Nuff Tour UK and Spain

Enuff Z'Nuff will hit the road in the UK and Spain next week. The band is touring to support Covered In Gold, which is a covers album of famous songs from a lot of eclectic acts. Nirvana is covered, as is Prince, The Cult and many more.

Here's the tour dates and cities since the poster below is a little hard to read. I'd be interested in seeing Enuff Z'Nuff live again if they came by me. My husband counts Enuff Z'Nuff as one of his favorite bands of all time.

All dates in May:

13 - London, England - The Underworld
14 - Doncaster, England - The Leopard
15 - Swansea, Wales - The Scene
16 - Cardiff, Wales - The Globe
17 - Ballymena, N. Ireland - Diamond
18 - Edinburgh, Scotland - Bannermans
19 - Sutton In Ashfield, England - The Diamond
22 - Madrid, Spain - Independence Live
23 - Barcelona, Spain - Sala Monasterio
24 - Huesca, Spain - El Veintiuno

Sorry, Chip.

But just you, & a couple other faceless fill ins does NOT a band make.

You & Donnie? OK, You & Vikki? OK... You on your own, NOPE.

I hesitated and was going to say the same thing. Ace beat me to the punch.

And it feels like a cash grab without the cash, given that Monaco seemed ready to strangle the rest of the band last year. On the frickin' tour bus no less!

Maybe Chip should take the band's name to heart.

I saw 'me at The Cat Club in NYC in 1989, fresh off that first album with the incredible Derek Frigo on lead guitar and Vikki Fox on drums and it was absolutely amazing, concluding with one of the greatest encores I've ever experienced, a beautiful Glam Metalized version of The Beatles' "Dear Prudence".

Those two hits, "New Thing" and "Fly High Michelle" were truly groundbreaking and, in my mind, stand alone in the pantheon of Glam Metal, easily landing in my "Top 100 Greatest Glam Metal Songs of All Time".

But for me, except for occasional (and, I mean, occasional) moments like their cover of "Tears Of A Clown", that's where the story ended.

p.s. I did meet Chip and Donnie on The Monsters of Rock Cruise, bought Chip a beer and we reminisced about that show at The Cat Club which was promoted by the legendary Tommy Gunn. Z'Nuff struck me as a genuinely nice guy and very engaged in the conversation.

Hell, yes, Spike! 2 original presses! 1 still sealed. They trade on Ebay for upwards of $125! "Sex, Guitars & Rock & Roll"!!! 1 of The Most BADA*S Glam Metal Songs of All Time! I even brought this to Z'Nuff's attention in between him tryin' to clip that chick I met on The Cruise, too and he wholeheartedly agreed!
