Adler Does 'Used To Love Her'

Steven Adler's new band is simply called Adler and Jacob Bunton of Lynam is the lead singer. The band was on a Peruvian talk show of sorts recently to promote their music... and mid-interview, Jacob busted out the Guns n' Roses classic "Used to Love Her." Basically, the performance is awesome and authentic. Jacob is such a great talent, not only in singing and playing guitar, but also in song writing. I can't wait to see Adler live when I have the chance.

If "Jacob is such a great talent, not only in singing and playing guitar, but also in song writing", then why did he break into a 30 year old predominantly Izzy Stradlin composition? Why not whip out one of those allegedly awesome originals?

There's plenty of really good Gn'R copy bands out there... this one's mediocre... they just happen to have the drummer who got booted out of the real band.

Doesn't have the greatest voice, but it's better than anything Axl is trying to pass off as "Guns N Roses" sure, the songs are legendary but he needs to do them justice like all the other original members are doing in their respected bands/projects. This isn't GNR obviously but it's a pretty decent salute to Adlers roots.

Ooo, harsh, Ace... I was thinkin' how much better and more authentic sounding SLASH would be with these guys instead of those generic hacks he's playin' with now but what likely stops him short is that aching feeling that Adler might relapse. Still, what's the big deal if he slips? He can always be replaced by Sorum just like last time.

I'm hittin' that Monsterwood Cruise in 2016 and I make a point to catch these dudes on it for sure! I mean, ya gotta hand it to this Jacob kid. He is a true 80's Style Rocker, when he could be playin' Modern Metal or whatever the hell it's called.

That last ADLER album was great and I look forward to the next!

Steven better thank his lucky stars Jacob came into his life. Jacob is the reason why Adler has any potential and still afloat. Again, RIGHT on the $$$ Ally (imo) about Jacob's talent!!
