Metallica Casting For New Video

Ever wanted to be in a Metallica video? The band will film a video for an unnamed new song on October 11-12 and they are looking for extras. The shoot will happen in San Francisco. Apparently the extras must be willing to cheer a lot and do some choreographed fighting. The Metallica website has the full casting details. They are looking for folks aged 21-55. Good luck!

Sendin' my boy, Carlos, to this as he lives there and is an actor.

And talk about choreographed, check out how they enlarged Ulrich in the publicity shot to be of equal size to the other guys. He's probably been specifying that for decades, haha!!

Still, I look forward to the new album and the video as it's obvious these guys woke up and are down to make real Rock & Roll again!

So they've gone from the band that was known for never doing any video's to the band that puts out a casting call, ha ha. That's what 30 years of maturity will do to ya.

Anyway ... on a global scale, Metallica and Iron Maiden are probably the 2 biggest bands keeping rock alive (and thriving in many areas outside the US), so more power to them! New album sounds great.

Whoa, Steve!... let's not forget Guns n' Roses and hopefully AXL⚡️DC!

Yup, bad misses on my part! And I even saw both in the last few months! Shameful.

Hahaha!!! Still, we need more out there...

There's RATT, Dokken and L.A. Guns but they'be never achieved the level of success of AC/DC, Gn'R, Metallica or Maiden. I want to throw in Sabbath and Ozzy but they're probably just about done and gone at this point, unfortunately.
