Houston Open Air Looks Great

So The Cult are playing a new fest called Houston Open Air set for September 24 and 25 in Houston, Texas. The headliners are Alice in Chains and Avenged Sevenfold. Other bands include Ministry, Alter Bridge, Sevendust, Buckcherry, Hellyeah and tons more. Tickets go on sale today and are under $100 for both days.

What's next...Sheboygan Open Air?? These festivals in every major city are getting out of hand. Promoters are ruining the whole experience by only worrying about making a shit ton of cash.

Hahaha!!!, Jason... Sheboygan! That IS Rich!

How about Peoria Fest featuring Shite Ranger, TeSLUG, REO Sh*twagon, Journey, STYX, Loverboy and all the other COMPLETELY crappy mediocre acts you can think of, hosted by the A*s of Metal Mediocrity they all pucker up to, Edward Chump!

I guess we can't have it both ways, right? Too few or too many festivals?

There are some good groups on this ticket. Not that I am interested in venturing to Houston in Sept. I'd rather watch Jay Leno sing my favorite Megadeth songs than deal with the humidity.
