When the question arises of, "What band do wish you'd have seen?", my answer has always been, Queen! (I also used to include The Who in that answer, but I finally did see them last year, albeit with just Roger and Pete). Although I wouldn't really count seeing Queen + Adam Lambert as ACTUALLY seeing Queen, I'd still like to check them out. You could always come to NY/NJ, Allyson!

I probably won't go to this one, since my concert list is filling up fast this year already, but if you haven't been to Seattle, it is beautiful in July!!! I would suggest it.

This is not "Queen", and no it absolutely does not count. This is some weak putz from American Idol, doing karaoke. And yes...I've given it a chance.

Bkallday,
If you think Adam Lambert is just a "putz" from 'American Idol' I suggest you have your ears checked. Queen gave him the keys to their kingdom for a reason. You sound close-minded here. Freddie isn't ever coming back. I'm grateful we still an option of seeing Queen live.

Eddie,
Yes, I could do the NY/NJ show. I have a very good friend in Manhattan and he would like me to visit.

Just another coverband trying to cash in. Saying he's a putz is being nice a few other things come to mind.

What is it with Badland and BK? And where's Kevon and Jack T. Ripper? No matter how predictable their Comments have become, it is fun to watch them vie for the "Troll of the Year" Award.

Whatever I personally may think of Adam Lambert, what has this guy ever done to be called a "Putz"? The man has been nothing but a consumate professional who can sing his a*s off and worships Freddie Mercury.

Brian May & Co. would not just pick anybody to fill Mercury's shoes. Even, still, if you've never seen Queen, here's your chance to catch the magic of Brian May's guitar playing AND hearing Lambert nothing short of nailing it!

I'm catching Queen@ Vegas's new T Mobile Arena... and possibly the Hollywood Bowl... (Who says you can't go home?) Not too many chances to catch the majesty of Brian May's guitar playing left. I've been seeing Queen live since the "Day At the Races" tour, with Thin Lizzy opening & they never disappoint!

Obviously, Freddie is no more, but they found a suitable queen to fill in for him. Adam is the perfect prancy frontperson to fill Freddie;s ballet slippers.

I saw 'em POINT BLANK in 1982 at Capital Centre (since detonated) in Largo, Maryland right outside D.C. Needless to say, Mercury was flawless unforgettable but so was May for that matter...

What Ace says is true, May's playing is truly majestic. Don't get hung up on Lambert to deny yourself seeing May. Plus, in the end, you'll wind up appreciating Lambert's mastery of the material, as well. One only has to go to YouTube to witness the proof.

For me, Freddie was the best frontman/showman ever, bar none. Never got the chance to see him. That said, I am going to try to catch this show. I saw Queen with Paul Rodgers really just to see Brian May, and he was excellent. Adam Lambert is a much better fit, can't wait!

Who cares! Mercury is dead if Queen fans don't mind Lambert so be it! I He is a too gay for me. And before people freak out, Im not talking about his sexual choice!

What!!!!! Lambert is Gay???? 😂
January 29, 2017 | Unregistered CommenterJack T Ripper
So is Halford. Who frickin' cares? The guy nails the material. If you're gonna get hung up on it and let that be your reason for not seeing Queen, you are denying yourself an incredible opportunity of seeing an amazing band and the absolute killer guitarist, Brian May.

MB, I dont care if Lambert bangs every dude in the world! Not talking about his sexual preference. I dont care for his persona or anyone that acts like him. Thats my preference! If he is happy good for him. I wont go see Queen with or without him, not my thing, but by all means enjoy it!

I have and would again. I dig JP music though. Don't care if Rob blows a whole stadium of dudes. I could do without the old assless chaps village wear.
