New Janet Gardner Music Is Here

Janet Gardner is best known as the vocalist for Vixen. Now she's back with her debut solo album called Janet Gardner. Janet just released a video for the song "Candle" - which is about the loss of both her parents. This video was obviously in the can for awhile. Janet was just rushed to the hospital on January 12 with blood clots in her brain. She had surgery and is recovering.

My 8 year old daughter wants to be a singer when she grows up. The other night when we were in the car, Sirius XM was on hair nation, and Vixen came on. She asked, "Who are these guys? They're really good!" I told her they were an all girl band and she was flabbergasted.

just saw her solo show last month - greatness. it’s so scary to hear of her brain clot, i hope she recovers in time for vixen’s (OK) casino gig in march (with kix).

It's great she caught that. A brain aneurism is what killed my father at the ripe old age of 60. Scary stuff. Here's hoping she has a full recovery and is back rocking the house shortly. What I've heard so far of her solo stuff kicked ass. Get well soon Janet. 👍

Janet IS kicka*s, through and through. I’ve seen Vixen six times and she (and they) bring it everytime! AND she’s the sweetest person, as I had numerous encounters (not those kind - I wish, haha!!) on The Monsters of Rock cruises over the years.

May the Metal Gods look down upon her soul and she has a full rd overt.

She's got a karaoke machine and takes voice lessons. We have several guitars, drums, and a piano. Just lacking talent or ability. 😎
