A pretty decent lineup including Ozzy Osbourne, Shinedown, Asking Alexandria, Steel Panther, Lita Ford and many more. All the bands on the poster below.

Son of a *itch I gave up on Rocklahoma and I am booked in Silverton Colarado the whole week riding the Alpine loop.. Ozzy would be worth it just to see Zakk, Lita, Ace, and the comedy of Wheeler Walker Jr - Jackyl would be good to see as well.. Oh well I will be there is spirit...

@Gary have you seen Zakk's new line of guitars - really cool and only a mere $1300 :)

I am glad I saw it when it was an 80s festival. Now it's part of the cookie cutter scene with a couple of extra bands, like Jackyl. Seeing Ozzy twice at Download Aus, which will be good, but out of all this, In This Moment is the only band I'd be excited for. Disturbed are dead to me. I'm sick of Steel Panther. The other bands I like, I've seen more than enough. I'd go to this if I lived in Pryor, Oklahoma. The downside is, I'd live in Pryor, Oklahoma

@Shawn I have. I’d really like his modded up copy of the Gibson Explorer. 🤘😎

You know you’re f*cked when the only 80’s acts playing are Ozzy, Jackyl, Lita Ford and Ace Frehley f*ckin’ Frehley and mock 80’s joke band, Steel Panther.

Reality is, the only act actually worth seeing is Buckcherry, who singlehandedly saved the genre in 1999 when they debuted their superb masterpiece, “Lit Up”.

p.s. Haha!!, Christian! That last line of yours says it all!

You guys kill me - you nailed Pryor Oklahoma - -- @Gary been following Father Zakk on instagram he posts some amazing solo's with his line of guitars plus some stupid comedy.

I really like Zakk actually. I don't have Instagram because I am old....

Guys. If you haven't already, do yourselves a favor and read Zakk's book "Bringing Metal To The Children". You'll laugh your ass off. Guy is one of the funniest MOFO's I've had the pleasure of reading. (And I've read mostly all of the The rocker bios) Ozzy may have been the only one to match or best him humor wise. I can't fathom the nonsense and hilarity over the years touring these guys created, especially when they were imbibing in adult beverages and "mood enhancing party favors" Oh To be the proverbial fly on the wall. 😂

@Christian I understand the social media thing - I only got an instagram account to follow my wifes business and help her out but then I discovered all the musicians have accounts plus all the Harley Davidson stuff - and Zakk posts stuff every day from humor to him ripping solos.. Slash is weird he or his social media team post's some crazy stuff..

Social Media? What is that? You have to explain. I sent Justin Timberlake a message on MySpace and he hasn't gotten back to me.

I have always loved Jeffrey Phillip Wielandt. But I still think his Book of Souls stuff is closest to his true sound (whatever that means). I can still dig his BLS shtick in doses (and it is shtick). I also appreciate what he brought to the table (in a pinch!) during the tail end of Ozzy's last real gasp of inspiration-by-way-of-others period.

Rocklahoma remains another bucket list thing I hesitated on back when it was, as Christian puts it, an 80's festival. Those days are long gone and I missed it. Damn.

As far as I can tell, Buckcherry will never be bad live. Josh Todd could sing a phone book and it would look scary, fun, and odd. And people would watch.

Lita Ford. She just looks scary. Her black widow tattoo is starting to look like an hour-glass. I kid. That was mean. But she strikes me as someone who is, well, um, hmm, not well balanced when it comes to the cranial stuff.

I did Wacken last year and I did a small festival in a brewery in southern Germany first. Saw Iced Earth and Mr Big, it was great. People there, we asked and they said 'we don't do Wacken, it's too far'. Same thing, I guess.

I think No More Tears is Ozzy's best album.

Buckcherry opened for KISS and I was third row (I wasn't for KISS, my scalped ticket was bogus). They are great live.

I have seen Lita, she's OK. At Rocklahoma, she sang 'Hungry' (for your sex), the straight after called her 10 year old on stage. That's a different parenting approach, I guess.

Had me laughing twice, Christian. First, with the comment that _No More Tears_ is Ozzy's best album. I can't even fathom that when you listen to the first three. Second, with that Lita story! That had me in tears.

Nice to see you posting again.
