Crashdiet Release 'Idiots' Video

This one is worth checking out: Crashdiet have released a video for the song "Idiots." Make sure you watch all the way to the end. Count how many classic Glam references you notice from this hilarious clip. I don't want to spoil anything - but let's just say there's some very iconic moments here. "Idiots" is from the upcoming album Rust.

Holy S**t! Best glam video and song in my recent memory (which is shot). Love the Heavy Metal Parking Lot documentary feel. 1986 was also the peak IMO of our genre. Really made my morning. Love the “Axl wiggle” from singer. Great stuff!!!

Idk about the video but the song is generic AF. Bands like these guys and Crazy Lixx, i can respect , but theyre not even in the same stratosphere as true glam bands like Pretty Boy Floyd, Wild Boyz, Tuff, etc. In other words.... a dime a dozen & their songs are a penny per dozen!

The video is brilliant with all of it’s 80’s Rockumentary spoofs.

KixChix nailed “Heavy Metal Parking Lot” and the dude at the end of the video also hilariously nailed the Maryland accent of the guy at the end of the classic original 15 minute film.

The other references to Penelope Spherris’s cult classic Rock doc, “The Decline of Western Civilization Part II” are equally funny with the singer reenacting the Chris Holmes pool scene as Shawn flagged.

The bearded looking dude is the funniest actor of all in the entire video with his exacting portrayal of Chris Holmes’ mother.

Another humorous bit is the singer spoofing Ozzy’s breakfast from that same movie.

The video straddles the perfect balance between both parody and homage to the music Crash Diet obviously loves both evident in the clip and the song.

I humbly disagree with BK as far as the song goes. This is one of the greatest bands, if not the greatest, to come out of Sweden carrying the torch for “The New Wave of Glam Metal”.

Despite all their setbacks with a revolving door of singers, etc., they still never disappoint in delivering some of the highest quality Rock & Roll in recent memory and this song is proof and gives me faith Real Rock & Roll will live forever!

Shawn! Stripwired are killer!

Cool how a successful AC/DC tribute band from Dallas, Texas known as Back in Black, created an alter ego band, if you will, taking their AC/DC influence and giving it a twist, making it their own.

The singer trades in his perfect Brian Johnson impression for his real voice and the guitars somehow manage to avoid copping any riffs or solos from the Young brothers, creating a cocktail, or rather Molotov cocktail recipe that will blow your hair’s wings back on first listen.

Thanks for the tip!

I dig it. It's not "Rest In Sleaze" good, but it's fun and its catchy. Will definately get the new album, hopefully they found a permanent singer.
