Slash Pulls a Tommy Lee

Who remembers the classic MTV Spring Break weeks? I remember watching them with my mom when I was in middle and high school. I swear, I wanted to be on one of those Spring Break shows but by the time I got to college, MTV was basically out of the rock music business...and I couldn't have afforded the trip anyway.
Last night I found a full concert of Vixen at the MTV 1989 Spring Break at Daytona Beach, Florida. Brings back good memories.
I wish I was in California so I could support this great cause. Since I can't be there in person, I guess posting this release so the West Coast Glammers can go helps a little.

Basically the Hair I Go Again documentary is going to be awesome. It's been in process awhile now. I know the filmmakers have been trying to raise money as they go along, so hopefully this film will be released soon. I think it will be a riot. An Indiegogo campaign is now live below if you'd like to help.
Received this press release late yesterday. Quite frankly, I'm not surprised at the outcome... are you?
GREAT WHITE AND JACK RUSSELL REACH AGREEMENT OVER USE OF “GREAT WHITE” NAME HOLLYWOOD, CA (July 23, 2013) - Great White and co-founding member/original lead singer Jack Russell have announced that they have entered into an agreement settling their pending litigation over the “Great White” name.
In March, 2012, Russell sued his former band-mates Mark Kendall, Michael Lardie and Audie Desbrow over their continuing use of “Great White” after Russell had taken a leave of absence from the band for medical reasons. The band countersued, and the parties have been involved in contentious litigation for the last year. After three days of closed-door mediation before U.S. Magistrate Judge Carla Woehrle, the parties reached a comprehensive agreement. While many of the terms of the agreement will remain confidential, it can be revealed that, going forward, the current Great White band will continue to use the name "Great White"' and Russell will perform under the name "Jack Russell's Great White".
Jack Russell’s GREAT WHITE has hit the high seas to embark in a two month two moth voyage across the Nation until early Fall.
Multi-Platinum original singer of GREAT WHITE still brings it to the stage belting out all the original beloved songs that made the band take a place in rock history. Russell will be performing all their greatest hits from "Save All Your Love," "One Bitten Twice Shy," "Rock Me" and more!
Generally when the word concert comes up, you probably immediately think of a rock or metal band. And mostly every crowd is loud, especially when there are a lot of special effects like pyro continually going off to keep people interested and "wowed."
The other day Vanilla Ice did a surprise performance of "Ice Ice Baby" during The Package Tour which is New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men. Holy crap what a loud crowd! The shrieking and screaming actually made me jump when I watched the video for the first time. Watching the clip sort of made me wonder if the crowd reaction was one of the loudest in history. I've been in a lot of loud crowds -- but I don't know if any of those experiences compare to the one below. I guess it has a lot to do with women and young girls shrieking or something. What is the loudest concert, crowd wise, you've ever attended?
This is very cool: an entire 1990 Faster Pussycat concert just popped up on YouTube. The show was in Detroit and the video below was pro-shot (just remember there was no HD back then)!
