First Videos of Queen + Adam Lambert

Queen + Adam Lambert are part of the tour circuit this summer. When first announced, this was one of THE shows I wanted to see more than any other... then the routing came out... then the ticket prices. I could have made plans for the Detroit show but then I would have had to skip quite a few other concerts I've got on the horizon and I just didn't want to do that. For me, concerts are a huge part of summer. I recently saw Paul Rodgers and that was great. Next month, I have several shows in a row at Riverbend in Cincinnati... so ultimately deciding to pass on Queen + Adam Lambert wasn't too painful. Still, I've been stalking YouTube, waiting for concert clips to emerge and they finally have, in droves!

I say Adam proved a few things... First, he's no Freddie Mercury. Not even close! Second, He doesn't need to be. Third, he has just enough of the vocal chops & Vegas showgirl glitz to pull this gig off convincingly. In the 21st century, he's the right choice for Queen, so they can continue to tour.

The lighting looks amazing! Everything I'd expect from the band I knew as Queen ! I only hope Roger takes his lead vocal turn & sings "I'm In Love With My Car" &/or "Tenement Funster" !

Adam should thank another "queen" for his wardrobe. The Metal God himself!!! Timeless.

Adam sounds adequate. Nobody is Freddie. I don't need to see this live. Show seems fun but for that coin as Alyson illustrated, nah

Terrible just terrible. Lady Gaga should should stick with her solo career.

Have never heard Adam sing with Queen. He is a great singer and beautiful to behold. But - Queen without Freddie just doesn't feel right to me.

Same goes for Robert Plant. No Robert Plant, no Led Zeppelin. I dont think they should even think of performing as Zeppelin with another singer. Although Millie would be a great choice, still nowhere near the same thing. Sometimes I think it is better for bands to choose not to carry on.

No Freddie=no Queen. I'm sorry. But you cannot replace Freddie. Queen died when Freddie did. I'm not an Adam Lambert fan first of all anyways, I just call bull#%^* on this whole thing.

I bet Queen is happy that we're the minority, & that the tour w/ Adam is selling out all over. ;)
