Another Glam Fest For Summer 2014

Hairapalooza is coming July 5 to Pinellas Park, Florida. Winger, Great White, Slaughter and Stephen Pearcy will perform. The best part is that the show is basically free unless you want to pay $30 to bring a chair up front.

not2hi: so apprapo and I'm taking my sons to soundwave. Already got tix. Website says more acts to be announced. Perhaps, stephen pearcy will make it. Anyway, gotta go. It's gonna be mid 80's today (unintentional pun) and daughters are begging to go to wildwater kingdom. For those of my former colleagues who've been asking my friends how I am doing since retiring...pretty fuckin' good!

Stephen Pearcy should tear it up!!! Again I can't make this. I hate not ever being able to go to festivals. Whether it be glam or not. I could go without winger though. Looks kinda cool.

I'll be goin' VIP, which is laughable considering the B-Team line-ups.

But it's a stone's throw from Orlando AND it's cheap!

Pearcy and Slaughter will be the ones to watch. Winger is professional comedy as they are just SO AOR in the final analysis.

Which Great White is it? Something tells me it's the one that needs Jack back.

These guys should really be a little more like Stone a Temple Pilots the way they took Weiland back all those times. As I've said before, if Eddie & Roth can patch it up, why not these guys, who are SO minor league by comparison.

I mean, what the h*ll's the big deal?

p.s. Not2Hi! I will make an effort to be at Soundwave. OC area is my old stomping grounds and I like the idea of seeing all those characters playing at the beach, it's still so nice there that time of year. They don't call it The Land of Pleasant Living for nothing.

I'll be hitting the Soundwaves show. Also playing are some former "M-Pre Party" bands.. STATION, SAINTS OF REBELLION, and STREETLIGHT CIRCUS.

oh... and Lynam will be there too... It's bike week in OC. I go every year.

Rock-It! I will try to see you there. Glad to hear Station will be there, too!

"Pearcy and Slaughter will be the ones to get a beer during. Winger plays circles around those bands and will make them look stupid.

Fixed it for ya.

Haha, Jason. True from a musicianship stance, but Winger's tunes, except for possibly "Can't Get Enough" and his 'hit', "Seventeen ", are sheer AOR Receptionist's Rock.

Even the off the radar "Battle Stations" is cornball when you get right down to it.

Indeed, for all the solid, tight overplaying, in the end, it's all about the songs and Wingjob doesn't really have any. I don't care how well someone plays if what they're playin' is sh*te.

Yep, despite all your Metal Monkeybiz, Jason, it's Pearcy, Slaughter and Great White who've got the better tunes, hands down. I don't care how halfa*sed they play! they blow Wingyboy off the frickin' bloody stage, hahaha!!! \m/
