Ozzy Osbourne Announces Farewell Tour (Again)

Ozzy Osbourne has said he was done a time or two... but maybe this time he means it?

He recently released a statement saying his upcoming world tour would be his last. North American tour dates will be announced in 2018. We already know Ozzy is on a few festival bills for next year. We'll see how long retirement lasts... this time.

Ozzy may wanna hang it up, but my money is on Sharon rolling him out in a wheelchair when he’s 80 if he’s still alive to keep the “gravy train” rolling (see what I did there) Lol

I'll bet he feels quite strongly now that this will be his last, but what else is he going to do with his time? If he wants to tour again in a few years, and people still want to see him, why not? Good on him.

I agree Bryon. I'll go see him solo since I've never had a chance too, but if he came back in a few years and sounded great, then why not? I'll go see him every farewell and reunion tour he does. Although I do think this will be his last time touring in any capacity, because he is pushing 70 and probably has more money than he ever imagined. It is a possibility that Ozzy solo and Sabbath would do one off events like charities or festivals, and if they're able to, that'd be really cool. Or maybe a one off destination type of ozzfest.

I also think it's good that he's doing only one off shows until the tour starts later, because even though he sounded great when I saw Sabbath last year that she tour probably took a toll on his voice.

Ozzy became irrelevant to me , the day Randy Rhoads died. :(

Having worked for Sharon & her father, Don was one of the creepiest periods of my life.

Saw the No More Tours in the 90s. He hasnt impressed me much since then. Much better show when i saw him in El Paso with Randy about a month before the accident.

Ace, yet again, you raise the reason why a book of yours needs to come out.
