Poison Announces Summer Tour with Cheap Trick, Pop Evil

It's happening, ya'll. Poison is hitting the road this summer. Here's the official release about the tour with Cheap Trick and Pop Evil. I saw a lot of buzz about this online yesterday.
LOS ANGELES (Feb. 6, 2018) -- Music fans wanting a little variety with their summer tour package will get that very thing with the “Poison…Nothin’ But A Good Time 2018” tour. Iconic rock band POISON, with all original members, will be joined by CHEAP TRICK and POP EVIL on its trek across the U.S. this summer.
Produced by Live Nation, tickets for various cities will go on sale starting Friday, February 9 and Saturday, February 10. Each band will be offering their own exclusive VIP packages and meet & greet opportunities beginning February 6 at 12pm local time. POISON will be offering direct-to-fan access to the best seats in the house via their own exclusive pre-sales at PoisonOfficial.com for access to exclusive content, ticket pre-sales and VIP packages. VIP Packages for CHEAP TRICK will be available for all dates, details for which can be found at www.CheapTrick.com. POP EVIL will also be offering VIP meet & greets at PopEvilVIP.com. For more information about the “Nothin’ But A Good Time 2018” tour, please visit Livenation.com.
The bands are fired up to make the journey across the U.S. together. Bret Michaels, POISON lead singer and noted philanthropist says, “The all original POISON is headlining again this summer. It’s going to be a mega concert and party combined. We will be playing all the hits and bringing high energy rock and roll good times. I promise this will be awesome. My friends CHEAP TRICK and POP EVIL will be joining us as well as some special guests on select dates. Again, I know all the bands with all the hits will be giving 1000%!!! Over the last years, POISON has got to co-headline with some great bands: Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Kiss, Lynyrd Skynyrd, to name a few, but I promise again, C.C., Bobby, Rikki and myself together will bring NOTHING BUT A GOOD TIME!!!”

Plus, give Cheap Trick 75 minutes to sufficiently get things rocking. I’ll be pissed if they get only 40-45 minutes.
Gary’s translation: “ we’ll be snoring through the exact same set list we’ve done for the last 20 years”
Until they put a little effort into their shows, I have no desire to see Poison again. And because I've seen Cheap Trick open for every band under the sun over the past 10 years, Pop Evil becomes the highlight of this bill.
No thanks!
WIll wait to see the set list of the first show before purchasing anything to this.
Ps: Bret, I'm coming to the show regardless, but if you guys don't pull out some deep cuts I personally will not purchase any "Roses and Thornes" perfume, dog sweaters, or granola bars. I need to save my money for the Gene Simmons vault experience.
Still, I may catch them at Jones Beach or in Atlanta but BK nails it with his description of Poison with a more hickofied Brett Michaels as the Bluegrass version of Poison, haha!!
I DO, however, disagree with BK that Cheap Trick is boring when they are anything but.
AND all who have commented about Poison needing to expand their set list, you couldn’t be more right.
That said, we diverge on one point: in any just universe, Cheap Trick would be the headliner, allowing the Bun-less ones to stretch out a bit.
