Open Thread: Best of 2019

My household is fighting some bugs this weekend, so things are low key and out of sync. I wanted to get my best of the year list ready this weekend but so far, no dice. So let's do things a little differently this year. Here is an open thread for you to post your choices for the best albums of 2019. Extra credit if you want to name the best show you attended, too.

Some of our favorites like Tesla, Queensryche, L.A. Guns and Whitesnake all released new work in 2019. Crazy Lixx, Slipknot, Tool, Alice Cooper and Steel Panther put out amazing releases. Pink Floyd dropped a massive new greatest hits set with previously unreleased tracks, too. Plus so many other albums and bands in between. All in all, 2019 was a strong year for metal.
