Quiet Riot Performs Without Frankie Banali

For apparently just the third time ever, Quiet Riot has performed live without any founding members of the band. This wasn't a small gig either - it was at the Heavy Montreal Festival in Quebec, Canada. Johnny Kelly filled in for Banali on the drums. I have no idea why Frankie wasn't part of the lineup. He was posting on his Facebook page (see a funny post below the video from the show). If there are no original members, it's just a cover band at that point, right? Why or why not?
