Lexxi Foxx Quits Steel Panther

Bassist Lexxi Foxx has left Steel Panther. The band announced the departure via their social channels with some story about Lexxi taking care of pets instead. This is pretty sad since the chemistry of the four guys in Steel Panther helped make the shows so fun and funny. Lexxi (Travis Haley) was an original member of the band and has been making music with the outfit for more than 20 years.

Hopefully, they’ll find someone funnier. This guys just wasn’t and was a biggest factor for me not really liking these guys.

The idea of these guys being poseurs but when you’re a poseur posing as a poseur, not so much.

That’s what they call a joke on a joke and that usually means, especially going with a concept like their’s, the joke’s on them, or more so, in his case, on him.

Willing to bet they find someone a helluva lot funnier which could potentially breathe more life into this now all but tired act.

What would be really comical is if he goes “straight”, playing in a legit band.

Damn, I’ve seen SP a bunch of times. Lexxi was Hilarious! A great Bassist and Comedian. Met the guys twice. All were cool but Lexxi was the Best of the Bunch. This will be deflating to the Act/Band.
