Bon Jovi Announces (Short) Tour
Bon Jovi was teasing a big announcement for noon today via YouTube. I tuned in and saw that the band was performing songs from the upcoming Forever (Legendary Edition) album, and I assumed a set of tour dates would be forthcoming. I was right.
The band hasn’t toured in six years because Jon Bon Jovi has been battling vocal issues.
Bon Jovi is one of the last remaining “big” bands on my concert bucket list. Unfortunately, the tour stops are few and far between, and it doesn’t seem likely I will attend any of these shows:
July 07 - New York, Madison Square Garden
July 09 - New York, Madison Square Garden
July 12 - New York, Madison Square Garden
July 14 - New York, Madison Square Garden
August 28 - Edinburgh, UK
August 30 - Dublin, Ireland
September 04 - London, UK
Naturally, many different pre-sale events start Monday. The general on-sale is October 31 via the band’s website. I assume this will just be a Live Nation redirect. Tickets are not going to be cheap (not that anything is, these days).
