Farewell Jennifer Finch

As a 90s rocker girl, I have to share this news.

L7 bass player Jennifer Finch has died at age 59 of brain cancer. It was just a few days ago that L7 announced the cancer diagnosis, so it all seems really quick.

The band was always a mix of metal and grunge and came on the music scene in the mid-90s. The ladies in the band mock everything and everyone and became known as trailblazers with their unique sound.

L7 was supposed to play a show near me at the end of October as part of their “Last Hurrah” farewell tour. Finch wanted the band to do the tour - even after it was apparent she would not be able to participate because of her diagnosis.
