‘Foreign Tongues’

There it is.

Earlier today, The Rolling Stones officially announced a new album. It will be called Foreign Tongues and is due July 10.

The band has been posting all sorts of cryptic images and whatnot on social media for some time now. Plus there’s been weird physical signage around their native UK, too.

The first single from the album is “In The Stars” and is on all streaming platforms.

You have to give the Stones credit, here. They have nothing left to prove. Their legacy is cemented. They have more money than some countries. Still, they keep on writing, recording, touring. Mick Jagger is 82! So is guitarist Keith Richards. Ronnie Wood is the youngster at 78. It’s shocking to think these dudes are older than my parents – and still running around on stage like they do.
