Heavy Pettin - ‘ Rock Generation’

Here’s a catchy, new song from a band we rarely discuss. Heavy Pettin just released a new track called “Rock Generation.” I love the opening and there is no hiding the intent here: the goal was to sound like throwback Glam, and the band achieved that.

Formed at the beginning of the 1980s in Glasgow, Heavy Pettin was never huge in America, but they did have songs on MTV and Hair Nation plays them sometimes on SiriusXM.

For now, Heavy Pettin are preparing to release their new album, also called Rock Generation, on October 24th. It will be the band’s first studio album since 1989.

Heavy Pettin is also going on a short European tour with Uriah Heap and April Wine this fall.
