‘I Wish It Would Rain’
Tesla’s new cover album Homage is out today and to celebrate, the band released a video for the track “I Wish It Would Rain.”
The song was originally recorded by The Temptations in 1967,
This is actually a really strong cover. You can tell the band members wanted to show deference to The Temptations here. Plus, I feel like this is a song you wouldn’t automatically think of being covered by a Glam band. That said, Little Caesar also covered it back in 1990. Which cover do you prefer?
