Ice Nine Kills - ‘The Great Unknown’ Song and Video
This might be the most amazing - and expensive - music video I’ve seen in years. Ice Nine Kills just released a Matrix-inspired video for their new track “The Great Unknown.”
The video is 10 minutes long. The song is 3 minutes if that gives you any indication of how much movie-making there is here. After you watch the video, peep the credits on YouTube and look at just how many people it took to pull off the clip. Again, INK and their label Fearless Records have some cash.
Most importantly the song is good - and marks a departure from the band’s intense focus on horror-themed rock. It will be interesting to see what INK’s next full-length album sounds like. I hope there are lots of tracks like “The Great Unknown.”
And now I need to rewatch The Matrix because I haven’t seen it since it came out!
