Bret Michaels To Perform At NFL Draft

While I despise the Pittsburgh Steelers, everyone knows I love pro football, so here we are.

Bret Michaels will perform during the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the end of the month. Bret is a diehard Steelers fan. To be fair, he comes by it honestly. He’s a Pennsylvania boy from the poorer side of the state - better known as Steelers country. Eastern PA folks seem to gravitate toward the Eagles, but that’s another discussion for another day.

It is pretty darn cool that Bret will be able to play some Poison tunes for the draft crowd. Of course, all the guys in Poison are from Pennsylvania… so it would have been nice to have Poison perform instead of just solo Bret, but it is what it is.

For his part, Bret definitely did the PR circuit this past week and pumped both the draft and his upcoming performance.

The NFL draft is set for April 23-25, with the first night (Thursday) being the most important - and most hyped - because that is when future superstars are made. Being a top 10 draft pick is way more than a big deal - let’s hope my Bengals don’t screw up their picks (again).
