There are so many amazing videos from Back to the Beginning at Villa Park in Birmingham, England yesterday. Truly, just amazing set after amazing set. And it is adorable to see really famous musicians totally fangirling at meeting the legends in Black Sabbath.
When Steven Tyler broke his larynx eight months ago, I thought his singing career was done. But rehab, patience (and probably endless money for special treatments) have him back in rare form.
Like, did anyone expect Steven to blow the roof off Villa Park? I mean, I figured he would be good or he wouldn’t sign up for the high-profile gig… but man! There’s a reason the Aerosmith frontman is considered the best in the biz.
Also, Nuno Bettencourt. Dude is straight fire on the guitar! And look how he smiles singing the Joe Perry parts, realizing he’s sharing a stage with a living legend.
Love Tom Morello’s guitar too - it says “Feed the Homeless.” Proper.
