Metallica Adds More Sphere Dates

This was inevitable.

On Friday, one of my friends tried to snag a hotel/ticket package for Metallica at the Sphere in Las Vegas. He ended up in a 3+ hour waiting room - and yes, this was a fan club presale. By the time he got in, everything was gone. I knew that the original dates were not going to meet demand - especially since the Sphere holds less than 20K. That’s nothing for a Metallica show.

Today the band announced six more shows for the Life Burns Faster residency.

The fanclub presale for this new batch of shows starts Wednesday.
