Mick Mars Is Not In Motley Crue. Why Is He In This Contest Photo?

Well, the headline says it all.

This is obviously a very old photo of Motley Crue - great, love that era of the band! But why is the band using the image NOW to promote their Las Vegas residency?

John 5 is the guitar player and Mick left several years ago. Sort of this smacks of false advertising if you ask me. Of course, the average person can’t name the members of their favorite band, let alone an act they just might casually “like” so maybe this is no big deal. Still, it feels icky.

The residency starts September 13th. I’ve read posts online that tickets are slow moving. We won’t know the truth until the shows begin and we get some firsthand accounts of the action.
