New Look, Who Dis?

After two painful weeks of migration and putzing (technical term) I decided the new look of BBG! was good enough to unveil. I say good enough because we can't let perfection be the enemy of execution.

I am sure you will find wonkiness all over the place. Drop me a message in the comment section of this post if that is the case and I will see what I can do. Moving 7000+ articles and god knows how many comments, videos, photos was... something.

On comments, just about everything should be migrated with the exception of those messages you left before I did the main data transfer.

Hopefully this migration saves you (and me) the frustration of the site disconnecting constantly. This is something I have been putting off for way too long. We are now on Squarespace 7 and I may roll again to 7.1 - to be determined.

For now, the most recent posts are aligned correctly. You'll notice that past a couple weeks worth of entries, the copy is left aligned and the videos are probably too big for the body - at least on mobile. That is because I have had to manually go in and correct the code on these recent blogs and I just can't do that for everything (obviously).

Like I said, I'm still tweaking but I hope you like the new look and the new functionality of the comments section. You can preview now!

Update from 4 p.m. - getting these sites connected and active sucks! The .net was very fast, the .com a nightmare. For now, the .net is being used to forward the .com. So bear with me as we muddle along together.
