Ozzy Osbourne Tribute Announced For VMAs

There it is. I knew when Steven Tyler was randomly in a recent Video Music Awards (VMA) promo, he had to be involved in the upcoming show somehow.

Now we know that Tyler, along with guitarists Joe Perry and Nuno Bettencourt and singer Yungblud will perform a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne during the Sunday awards telecast.

The all-star group will perform a medley of Ozzy’s hits as an homage to the late Metal icon. Good for MTV for actually acknowledging Ozzy’s importance and putting this remembrance together using actual musicians who knew and appreciated the man and his work.

The VMAs are this Sunday at 8 p.m. on CBS.
