Rest Is Alright
First off, let me eat a little crow regarding yesterday’s post about Slipknot’s tour announcement. Yes, the band did announce a world tour in huge venues which was expected. What surprised me was the addition of Bring Me The Horizon and tons of other bands that will rotate through the dates. I want to see BMTH again, so traveling for this tour is a real possibility. Tickets on sale Wednesday - the US dates are in the summer.
Now, for today I am just shaking my head at Bret Michaels and his latest social post. Like, he just can’t help himself.
Look everyone can live exactly how they choose, but for someone I am going to call medically fragile at this point, I think Bret needs to take it down a notch.
He was supposed to take it easy the rest of the year and that includes not performing live. Well, he’s already announced several shows and I expect more, too. I get that Bret doesn’t like to sit around. He would rather be active and work but I do worry about all his past health issues. If Bret announces he’s training for a marathon or something - and not a Poison anniversary tour - I am going to lose it.
Still I can’t lecture too much. I mean, he did share posts of cats dressed like himself over the weekend. See the second posting.
