Random Summer Friday

I’m glad it is Friday.

I actually took today off work just because I've been feeling extra tired. Eric even commented how odd it was that I’ve been taking random days since I’m typically a PTO hoarder. I’m just trying to break up the commute and get through each day right now. Stuff feels like a slog.

Since it is still August, I was able to go to my neighborhood pool for a while and enjoy the sun and chlorine. Plus I chilled in a lounge chair and read. Civilized.

In other news, Tesla reminds us that their latest Las Vegas residency is coming up fast. In fact, this will be the fourth time the band has held court in Sin City. The shows start on October 17 and there are only five dates.

I’m not a big Vegas person myself, so these residency gigs have lost a bit of shine for me. I mean, I’d love to see Bruno Mars but the tickets are too expensive and I don’t feel like going to the desert in summer anyway. At least Tesla is playing there in the fall, which should mean temps in the cool 90s. 😁
