Reviewing My Concert Bucket List
There aren’t many bands / acts left on my concert bucket list. One of the remaining stadium acts is Bruno Mars, and imagine my excitement when I saw his new album and tour announcement a couple of days ago. Actually, when I saw the email from Ticketmaster I gasped so loud that one of my coworkers checked on me.
Bruno Mars takes forever to make albums, and he doesn’t tour all that much either. All the performances of his I’ve seen on TV and YouTube are pretty epic with the big backing band, matching clothes and James Brown-like dance moves. Mars is a special kind of performer, and his music is just plain fun.
The new album is called The Romantic and is due February 27th. Concert tickets on sale next week. The first single is called “I Just Might” and the video is below.
So who is the other remaining stadium act left on my bucket list? It’s Bon Jovi. My last remaining big glam band on the list? It’s Europe. The last big Metal act on the list? It’s Megadeth - and I’m seeing them in May!
