Saxon Forced To Scrap Several Shows

This isn’t good.

Saxon is canceling ten upcoming shows because singer Biff Byford is undergoing an emergency procedure. The cancellations include the massive Wacken Open Air festival. The cancellations equal six weeks off the road for the legendary band.

Thing is, Saxon is still doing a gig on July 2, so the procedure isn’t happening until after that show (presumably). Also, six weeks isn’t that long to be down in the grand scheme of life, so I am going to hope for the best here.

The band did not disclose Byford’s ailment.
