So GnR Turned Down The Sphere

I find it interesting that Slash discussed turning down shows at The Sphere in Las Vegas recently. He thinks the environment is too “controlled” for Guns n’ Roses and their stage show. Perhaps he’s right. The Sphere is all about the visuals, and Metallica does over-the-top production (and marketing) so well. Of course, they do music and everything else well, too. That’s why they are huge.

Could Guns sell out the Sphere? Probably. I’m not sure about a run like Metallica, but maybe a few dates. GnR would definitely need to up their video-visuals game. I’m sure they’ll play there when the price is right (as in, they haven’t been offered enough cash yet).
