‘Sound N’ Fury:’ The Book, The Song

Alan Niven, famed manager of Guns n’ Roses and Great White during the heyday of 80s glam has a memoir coming out June 24. The book is called Sound N’ Fury: Rock N’ Roll Stories (ECW Press).

I’ve had Niven’s book on my radar for awhile now and it is finally coming out and I can’t wait to read it! Niven pops up in all those 80s hair metal documentaries released over the years and he always seems to have a good story to share.

Remember when SIXX: A.M. released the “first soundtrack to a book” for The Heroin Diaries? Well along those same lines, a band called The Imperfected just dropped a song called “Sound N’ Fury” as a soundtrack to Niven’s book.

The Imperfected is a band anchored by bassist Chris Catero and a rotating list of musicians he recruits for any particular project. Catero has a production partnership with Niven, so the project collaboration makes sense. The singer on the track below is Bobby Sisk.
