Steve Martin (Yes, That One) Records with Aerosmith

This is a little fever dream for your Friday.

Aerosmith and Yungblud have released the “desert road” version of their track “My Only Angel” featuring Steve Martin on banjo. Yes, Martin is more famous for being a comedic actor, but he’s also an accomplished bluegrass artist. I never thought I’d hear him record with my beloved Aerosmith, but it is 2025 and nothing makes sense anymore, so whatever.

The “desert road” version of the song features acoustic guitars, as well as the banjo. Apparently, the collaboration originated via a text message between Steven Tyler and Martin. The chat exchange is below.
