‘Stuck In The ‘80s’

Ok, this is a little Christmas miracle.

Helix has a new album coming out called Scrap Metal. One of the tracks is called “Stuck In The ‘80s,” and the associated video is a riot. It’s just singer Brian Vollmer wearing his denim patch vest (naturally) and singing while a Trans Am (naturally) spins around some flames (naturally) as a backdrop.

The lyrics make me chuckle, and honestly, the song sounds like the comments section around here.

“Take a ride in my time machine / Back to when the music scene / Was so much better than it is today /

I don’t know, what can I say? / I’m stuck (stuck, stuck, stuck) in the ‘80s!”

Scrap Metal comes out January 23 via Perris Records.
